Mini Museum
Let's get creative!
In this inclusive project, children design their own museum. They choose themes, collect artworks, create exhibitions and guide visitors through their gallery.
The Concept
A place where children can grow and families can breathe.
An inclusive project for young art professionals. Many leisure activities are often difficult for children on the autism spectrum to access – too confusing, too loud, too impersonal.
The Mini Museum
Our Mini Museum offers a safe, clearly structured environment where social learning can happen playfully and in an everyday context. The children work together to create their own little museum: they choose a theme, collect objects and their own artworks, design exhibition spaces, create labels and practice guiding visitors through the exhibition.
Individual Support
They are individually supported by our specialists, receive guidance and appropriate support. This allows them to develop social skills, take responsibility and try out new roles. As artists, museum guides or curators – with joy, structure and real experiences of success.
The Grand Finale
At the end, they open their Mini Museum to family and friends, guide them through the exhibition and celebrate together what they have created.

Project Goals
Children experience with us how they can be strong together – step by step, with joy and success.
Promoting communication and social interaction
The children learn to talk together in the Mini Museum, to ask and answer questions, to understand visitors' interests and to coordinate on joint tasks.
Training daily life skills
They practice tasks like preparing materials, sorting exhibits, structuring spaces and tidying up, as well as simple organizational activities – skills that are also helpful in everyday life.
Strengthening fine motor skills, independence and self-efficacy
When drawing, crafting, building small exhibition elements or writing and painting labels, children improve their motor skills and experience that they can make a difference and create something themselves.
Playful learning in a structured, safe environment
Through clear procedures, picture cards and rituals, children gain security and orientation and can focus on the common goal: their own Mini Museum.
Introduction to the world of museums
The children slip into different roles: they design exhibits, set up exhibition areas, welcome visitors, explain their works and guide through the rooms. This way they experience how many small tasks become a big whole – their own museum.
Admission Criteria
Participation in a Mini Project is always project-specific and begins with a personal conversation with the caregivers, as well as getting to know the child. For guidance, we provide a checklist:
- ✓ Functional communication - verbal or supported
- ✓ Interest in social contacts - with other children
- ✓ Understanding instructions - and rules
- ✓ Basic independence - Hand washing, dressing and undressing
- ✓ No self-harming or aggressive behaviors
These points serve as guidelines and do not replace individual assessment. The final decision is always made situationally and in the best interest of the child.
