Mini Abenteuercamp
Out into nature, into adventure!
In this inclusive holiday camp, children explore nature, build a castle together from natural materials and experience a week full of movement, discoveries and teamwork.
The Concept
A week of nature, adventure and growing together.
An inclusive holiday camp for young adventurers. Many holiday programs are often difficult for children on the autism spectrum to access – too large, too unpredictable, too impersonal.
The Adventure Camp
Our Mini Abenteuercamp offers a safe, nature-based environment where children discover the outdoor world together. At the centre is a castle-building project from natural materials: branches, stones, moss and earth become a real castle. Each day brings a new theme – discovering, building, moving, researching and celebrating.
Individual Support
The children are individually supported by our specialists at a 1:2 to 1:3 ratio. Visual daily schedules, morning and closing circles, and retreat spaces for sensory breaks provide orientation and security. This allows children to try new things, take responsibility and build self-confidence.
The Grand Finale
On the last day, the children celebrate the inauguration of their castle with games, a picnic and a diploma ceremony – a crowning finale to an unforgettable week.

Project Goals
Children experience with us how they can grow beyond themselves in nature and together – step by step, with joy and success.
Promoting teamwork and social interaction
The children learn to plan together, divide tasks and coordinate during castle building. Through cooperative games and shared discoveries, they practice responding to each other and working as a team.
Strengthening nature connection and environmental awareness
Through daily forest excursions, sensory experiences and wildlife observation, the children develop a relationship with nature. They learn to use natural materials respectfully and to respect the environment.
Promoting gross motor skills, coordination and joy of movement
Obstacle courses, relay races and building with natural materials strengthen motor skills. The children experience how good movement in the fresh air feels and gain confidence in their bodies.
Building self-efficacy and self-confidence
From the first branch to the finished castle, children experience how small steps create something great. Daily progress and shared celebrations strengthen confidence in their own abilities.
Structured learning in a nature-based environment
Through visual daily schedules, recurring rituals and clear routines, children gain security – even in the unfamiliar forest environment. This allows them to embrace the adventure and try new things.
Admission Criteria
Participation in the Mini Abenteuercamp is project-specific and begins with a personal conversation with the caregivers, as well as getting to know the child. For guidance, we provide a checklist:
- ✓ Functional communication - verbal or supported
- ✓ Interest in social contacts - with other children
- ✓ Understanding instructions - and rules
- ✓ Basic independence - Hand washing, dressing and undressing, using the toilet
- ✓ No self-harming or aggressive behaviors
These points serve as guidelines and do not replace individual assessment. The final decision is always made situationally and in the best interest of the child.
